The Island Magazine

The Island Magazine is now accepting submissions from professional and amateur heritage researchers for the Spring-Summer 2025 issue. If your article is accepted, our Editor and Editorial Board will work with you to prepare it for publication. Any topic related to the human and/or natural heritage of PEI is welcome.

Requirements

• Articles should be 4,000 words maximum (excluding the footnotes/endnotes/bibliography - but this/these should be included with the submission)

• Authors may include 4-5 hi-res images with Permissions of Use already in place for the magazine.

• Depending on the topics, we may seek outside reviews from Content Specialists or Sensitivity Readers (respective authors will be informed beforehand)

• Authors will receive two complimentary copies of the magazine

• Deadline to submit articles is 28 February 2025

Submission does not guarantee that your article will be published in The Island Magazine. Selection for publication does not guarantee publication in the next issue of The Island Magazine as we reserve the right to choose when a submission will be published.
